Gulla CPA is looking to aggressively grow in the next few years by becoming a national firm by 2025. This is a rare opportunity to join a young firm with great potential. We're hiring qualified CPAs who are looking to grow with the firm and we are offering the chance to become a partner within three to seven years. Required experience is minimum of ten years in public accounting, with a strong background in accounting/tax.

We have an immediate position for a qualified CPA to join our team.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the Fort Lauderdale location in its entirety
Supervise tax return preparation and review of tax returns (including income (individual, C Corp, S Corp, Partnership, Non-Profit, and Trust/Estate), tangible, payroll, and sales tax)
Preparation/Review of compiled financial statements (income tax and accrual basis)
Consultation on complicated and technical tax subjects
Maintain and develop existing client relationships
Mentor and develop employees across the firm
Research tax issue and provide guidance to clients and firm personnel

Software

Wolters Kluwer products (training to be provided)
Microsoft Suite (advanced preferred)
QuickBooks Online

Skills

Analytical, critical thinking, and time management
Communicate professionally with clients/co-workers
Research and workpaper documentation
Able to multitask effectively in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

Position Details

Compensation based on experience level
Full-time, on site (very limited travel)
