Job Description:
As the Security Manager, you will oversee all security operations at our condominium building. Your primary focus will be ensuring the safety and security of our residents, staff, and property. You will lead and manage a team of security personnel, implement security policies and procedures, and respond to any security incidents or emergencies. You will report to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, protocols, and procedures.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team.
Conduct regular security inspections and risk assessments.
Monitor and manage security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
Train and mentor security staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports on security operations and incidents.
Collaborate with building management and residents to address security concerns and improve safety measures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a security manager or in a similar position, preferably but not necessarily in a residential setting.
Strong understanding of security systems, protocols, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to handle and diffuse stressful situations effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Relevant certifications in security management or related fields are preferred.
Must be on call for emergencies and be able to work flexible hours if/as needed
