CHARTER SALES SPECIALIST
Directly Reports to: Director of Partnerships
A Day in the Life:
Building your list of potential customers by researching our CRM, social media, and trade press etc
Pro-actively targeting your list through outbound sales calls, emails and visits (both face-to-face and virtual) and converting them from potential customers to Tropic Ocean customers
Building relationships with Brokers to generate new business
Maintaining relationships and follow up with customers (virtually and in-person) to ensure guest retention
Working to sales target meeting financial objectives
Demonstrating expert understanding of the aircraft, our destinations and chartering process
Managing charter bookings from enquiry to completion
Responding to inbound calls and RFP's within a timely matter
Presenting bespoke quotes to customers demonstrating good commercial acumen
Imputing accurate deal information on each customer and deal to ensure correct reporting
Working alongside business development to identify gaps in specific markets or key destinations
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Revenue
Develop and execute individual strategic short and long-term sales goals in coordination with company sales objectives to generate new clients, retain existing clients and increase overall charter revenue
Participate in and contribute feedback to management to create charter sales opportunities and increase brand awareness and credibility
Initiate and develop new relationships with charter prospects and increase Lifetime Value of existing customer base
Meet with customers face-to-face to enhance relationship, build rapport and seek referrals
Conduct market research and build a solid pipeline of potential clients to contact
