Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Strategic Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the challenges in refining and continuous manufacturing, a proven track record of success in the technical consulting field. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique challenges, and strategically positioning our consulting services to meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
1 Client Relationship Management:
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients in the refining and continuous manufacturing sector.
Act as the main point of contact between the client and our technical consulting team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
2 Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the industry.
Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to develop strategies for expanding our strategic client base.
Develop and maintain strong industry relations with significant presence in assigned markets.
3 Strategic Account Planning:
Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to address client needs and drive business growth.
4 Technical Expertise:
Leverage a deep understanding of refining and continuous manufacturing processes to provide valuable insights and solutions to clients.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes.
5 Innovative Partnerships:
Foster and develop innovative partnerships with clients to create mutually beneficial collaborations.
Identify opportunities for alliances, collaborations and partnerships to enhance our service offerings.
Identify and foster industry technical talent for future advisor additions.
6 Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
Provide feedback and insights from client interactions to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications:
B.S. or M.S. in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical or Process Engineering is required, with advanced business degrees highly desired.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in technical sales / owner-operator experience with a minimum of 5 years managing major accounts in the downstream space.
Proven track record of managing corporate accounts and achieving revenue targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
