We are seeking a dynamic Bilingual HR Generalist to manage daily Human Resources operations for our client in San Diego, California. This role involves overseeing various HR tasks, from employee relations and onboarding to compliance and system management. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator who can help drive continuous improvements and support the growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate new hire processes, including I-9 compliance, background checks, and drug screeningsConduct onboarding and orientation sessions, ensuring all required documentation is completedProvide support in talent acquisition and recruitment processesMaintain and update the HRIS system with employee data and transactions, ensuring accuracyAssist in handling FMLA claims and other leave management processesAddress employee relations issues, offering conflict resolution support, and escalate complex matters when neededParticipate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and HR investigations as requiredTrack compliance with required trainings, such as ethics and anti-harassment programsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations by reviewing and updating HR policies regularlyConduct research and analyze HR data to support various projectsGenerate and process necessary HR documents, such as offer letters, and manage DocuSign workflowsEnsure job descriptions are current through ongoing reviews and updatesQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of four years of experience in a similar HR Generalist roleStrong understanding of California employment laws and regulationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and SpanishOutstanding interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong organizational abilities with keen attention to detailProven time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesCapacity to handle sensitive information confidentially and with discretionProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systemsHR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM are highly preferredBilingual fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred
