Bilingual Japanese Tax Senior We are a highly reputable and established CPA firm specializing in international tax services tailored for Japanese clients.
This challenging yet rewarding position offers the opportunity to work on complex tax cases within a professional and collaborative environment.
Candidates proficient in Japanese and with extensive experience in public accounting are invited to apply for this remote role, ideally located within the PST or MST time zones.
Salary: DOE per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare Federal and multi-state tax returns for a diverse set of entities including C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and trusts.Address and resolve complex accounting and tax-related issues as they arise.Engage in both basic and advanced tax research to support client needs and compliance.Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, aiming to become a trusted tax advisor.Identify and recommend strategies for tax planning and consulting to optimize client outcomes.Work closely with partners and senior management on various challenging engagements.Understand and apply tax laws and regulations thoroughly and accurately.Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Tax, or Business Administration.Minimum of 2 years' tax experience in a public accounting firm.CPA license or actively working towards obtaining a CPA license.Exceptional attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.Capable of handling complex tax and accounting issues effectively under tight deadlines.Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without the need for sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications: Advanced proficiency in Japanese and English, both verbal and written, is highly preferred.Experience in an advisory capacity to high-net-worth individuals and large corporations.Demonstrable history of improving tax processes and client satisfaction.Comfortable working in a digital, paperless environment with modern tax software and communication tools.Proven track record of multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Skills: Strong tax preparation and research skills.Effective interpersonal skills for maintaining client relationships.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of autonomy and self-direction.Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for career progression and learning.
