The Bilingual Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean Mobile Phlebotomist II is responsible for routine and urgent phlebotomy requests in support of our clinical department.
This patient-centered role is responsible for all phlebotomy activities, including data entry of patient data, collection of all patient specimens including blood, urine and fecal samples, and answering all questions and concerns from patients, families and other health care providers.
The role may also perform bone density and other screening activities for wellness patients.

Must be fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean Full-time position working M-F. Responsibilities include: Perform phlebotomy on assigned patients according to clinical orders, industry standards and age specific protocols.Safely and appropriate handle specimen, labeling, preservation, storage and transportation to designated lab for processing.Ensure al required electronic documentation is completed both accurately and in a timely manner.Collaborate with scheduling team to ensure daily draw schedule is complete and accurate including priority, STAT or fasting patients are appropriately scheduled.Performs patient identity verification for possible duplicate medical record numbers.Compiles review data and reports trends to supervisor for follow up and education as necessary.Contribute to positive team culture by attending staff meetings and education opportunities, maintaining a safe, secure, and equitable work environment through all interactions.Actively support the achievement of HBM-SCAN's Vision and Goals.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and experience: 3 to 5 years of pervious work experience as phlebotomist in a busy lab or related environment.Current CPT with no restrictions or disciplinary actions pending.Bilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean requiredExcellent customer service skills, including patience and diplomacy with both internal and external audiences.Strong service recovery skill set and mindset.Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written, verbal and over the phone communication skills.Demonstrates good organizational skills for prioritizing and delegating with follow-up for quality.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.Requires willingness to be flexible in changing job responsibilities, assignments and workload.
