Bilingual SUD Counselor (Registered or Certified) – Residential – Salinas

DESCRIPTION

Responsible for individual and group counseling for Residential treatment. Ability to conduct intake and assessments including treatment plans for individuals. Serving the special needs of program participants and individuals. Facilitate group for participants in a residential treatment program. Activities are designed to support environmental change for individual recovery in a Social Model setting using evidenced-based curriculum (Matrix).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with adults in the alcohol and drug addictions field. State Certification, familiar with Medi-CAL & ASAM criteria and EHR (Electronic Health Records) via AVATAR.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Constant movement around facility and some travel in the community. Time spent sitting, using a computer station, periods of intense concentration, using the telephone, paperwork. Time spent in meetings. Exposure to some outdoor weather and environmental conditions.
NOTE: Employees will be required to be fingerprinted, screened for tuberculosis, and trained in CPR & First Aid.
