Billing Specialist
The Revenue Operations Team is looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team.
We are looking for someone excited to roll up their sleeves and get to work.
This role will give the successful candidate experience and visibility into the day-to-day operations of our billing team.
The Impact You Will Make:
Processing Monthly Billing for each of our Partners globally.
This consists of a set of activities that span 3-5 business days monthly.
Responsible for the review of billing data and the generation of complex invoices into our accounting system for presentation to internal and external customers.
Perform all necessary activities (billing, adjustments, and cash applications) to ensure that invoicing is both accurate and timely and payments are processed and applied correctly.
Contributor to Billing Support queue & is responsible for the invoice accuracy and all follow-ups thereafter including resolution of billing disputes and generation of billing adjustments within prescribed SLAs.
Informing new partners of processes upon onboarding
Ad-hoc troubleshooting
Participate in & contribute to billing process improvement initiatives
The Expertise You Bring:
Basic Qualifications:
Education – Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
Experience – 2+ years in Accounting or related field
Experience in Excel – comfortable using Excel to compile and analyze data, complete reporting, etc.
Solid Communication skills – both written and oral
Desired Qualifications:
Able to function independently as well as with a team effectively.
High degree of attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Experience with NetSuite & Microsoft Dynamics is a major plus
Drive process improvements including working with business partners and other departments.
Address and handle non-standard, complex billing
