ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Drafting experience and the ability to illustrate and dimension drawings of assemblies as required
•Experience using Autodesk products including AutoCAD and Revit BIM (previous Revit experience is a plus and desired)
•Manage software products including but not limited to incorporating updated version releases and customization of the product.
•Stay informed on best practices for use of Revit Architecture and BIM.
•Stay informed on other BIM related software and how they work with Revit.
•Installation and support of related BIM software.
•Provide technical orientation and internal training to staff on Revit and BIM tools.
•Provide hardware and network support as it relates to BIM production.
•Troubleshoot problems.
•Checking all drawings and shop tickets to verify accuracy.
•Willingness to learn and adapt to Gate standards as needed
•Willingness and ability to work as a collaborator
•Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
•Ability to read construction plans, be highly detail oriented with good written/verbal skills .
•Experience in similar concrete related industry desired.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
•High School Education preferred.
•Experience in design, drafting in Architectural Precast Concrete.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•In-depth working knowledge of current BIM versions.
•Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance.
•Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software.
•Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently
