This is a
role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in
their career. As a Biochemist II, you
will be responsible for:

You will be supporting and leading process and/or design
change projects.  You will develop protocols, prepare validation
and/or test results reports, and work with cross functional teams.
You may provide guidance to technicians and lead
troubleshooting during production and post distribution of commercial
products.
You may lead or support to investigate the performance of raw
materials for use in manufacture of Chemistry/Immunoassay products.
You may lead or participate in investigation of escalated
complaints and manufacturing issues.  You will coordinate and
perform investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
You will prepare buffers and reagent formulations as
necessary in the evaluation of animal bleeds and pools qualification.This will also require you towork with controlled substances and running Syva Viva E, ProE, Beckman AU,
and Atellica instruments with serum and other biological fluids of human
and animal origin in the laboratory set-up.

You have good time management and planning skills, working
with cross function teams to meet project milestones.
You have good understanding and knowledge of polyclonal and
monoclonal antibodies qualification and principles of immunodiagnostic
technologies as well as experience with immunoassays.
You have demonstrated ability to interpret data through
statistical analysis to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. You
have proficiency in using Microsoft Office and statistical tools.
You have good understanding of Quality System Requirement and
current regulations.
You have a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal
communication skills.
You have strong chemistry or biochemistry background related
to complex reagent production.

Your expertise:
BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Medical
Technology, Biology or related disciplines with 5 - 8 years of job-related
experience.
Experience working in a regulated environment.
DEA background clearance is mandatory.
