Responsibilities
• Performing complex manufacturing processes in a highly automated, regulated environment• Operating specialized highly automated equipment to make products• Preparing media and buffer solutions for manufacturing processes• Monitoring growth and health of cell cultures for product quality• Monitoring and analyzing production processes and data• Working in teams to improve automated equipment and processes• Ensuring safety of self, others, and the environment• Studying theory elements of the apprenticeship• Performing hands-on training in manufacturing facilities• Developing and progressing through a personal training program
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalency diploma• High school GPA of 2.5 or above• High school Algebra, Geometry, English, Biology, and Chemistry with GPA of 2.5 or above• 0-30 college credits• Must be 18 years of age by August 1, 2024• Less than 2 years of related work experience since graduating high school• Written and spoken fluency in English• Enrollment and meeting entry requirements at partnering community college or technical institution• Ability to commute daily to the GSK manufacturing facility and related college or institution
