As a Blue Yonder EDI Business Analyst on Echo's Integration Team, you will act as an intermediary between the business community, technical community, and Echo's clients and carriers to elicit, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which solutions are developed and delivered.
This role will perform business analysis techniques in working with these partners to understand the business processes and needs that enable EDI/API integration projects to be successful and goals to be met.
EDI Business Analyst will also assist in test validation and the rolling out of enhancements and bug fixes.
Position Duties & Responsibilities Facilitate meetings with all stakeholders to elicit, define, and refine integration requirements Analyze, develop, and manage detailed requirements documentation Manage EDI/API projects through testing, validation, and implementation Develop life cycle documents, including detailed functional requirements, software (data translation) and other design specifications, and user manuals.
Provide test cases to the developers Verify and validate complete end-to-end testing with the business and client/carrier Work with the developers to verify project completion for supportability Utilize strong written and oral communication skills to regularly update stakeholders on project status, e.g.
project phase, issues/roadblocks, go-live dates, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications 3 years of relevant experience in a Business or Technical Analyst role Experience with Blue Yonder Supply Chain Platform 3 years experience with EDI ANSI X12 Standards (specifically 204, 214, 210, 990) 3 years experience in the transportation/logistics/supply chain field Excellent oral and written communication skills Self-managed and motivated; organized and detail-oriented Ability to create process flow documentation Ability to follow through with tasks to their completion Experience in the transportation/logistics/supply chain field SQL query experience Proficient with MS Word, Excel (charts, reports, data analysis, and flowcharting) Successfully work collaboratively and with minimal supervision Project management, time management, and problem-solving skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Must be able to translate business requirements and design concepts into intuitive designs and solutions Competent to work with minimal supervision in a technical capacity on most phases of assigned projects Ability to recognize complex problems and apply creativity to analyze solutions, develop solutions and procedures Preferred Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Knowledge of APIs, JSON, and XML data formats Demonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly Experience of ServiceNow Incident and Change management in an ITIL environment Proficient with MS Word, Excel (charts, reports, data analysis, and flowcharting) Management Information Systems or IT related degree What's in it for you?
