Areas of the facility reach high/low temperatures with high humidity levels. Employees may have exposure to conditions such as dust, plant matter, and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or skin, depending on department job assignments. Employees are required to wear protective gear and have the option to wear eye and ear protection. Certain areas of the facility use harsh chemicals for cleaning such as bleach and can have repetitive movements. Employees should be comfortable and capable of working under all of the above conditions. Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment. This may include cleaning, calibrating, replacing faulty equipment.Troubleshooting, responsible for identifying and resolving problems with system, includes diagnosing electrical, mechanical, repair/replace as needed.Respond to emergency equipment failures in a timely fashion.Report and follow up on any defective equipment or structural problems to the Supervisor.Be responsible for the evaluation and recommendation of materials for associated projects and repairs. Training, may also be responsible for training building operators and maintenance staff on how to use and maintain equipment.Documentation – maintain accurate records of work performed, maintenance activities, repairs and system configurations.Facilitate and assist in all other maintenance duties.Any other duties as assigned by management.
