Compensation Range: $19.00 - $24.00/per hour based on experience - plus incentives based on productive hours This position requires that you are physically active during your shift. This may include, but is not limited to, running, driving, stooping, bending and lifting. How do our BMW Journeyperson Technicians Drive Impact? Our BMW Journeyperson Technicians come in everyday and work hands on at our dealership alongside pros of the industry. You will be an integral part of our service team by performing these actions: - Perform diagnosis on customer and dealership vehicles. - Use OEM & aftermarket scan tools to diagnose various no start, vehicle performance issues, squeaks, rattles, & suspension concerns. - Communicate what parts department and needed parts for repair. - Keep abreast of latest repair techniques and concerns for your OEM store. - Complete all approved repairs from start to finish. - Utilization of video multi-point inspections - Assure quality control with all vehicles through safe practices of wearing safety glasses and hard-toes shoes and slip resistant footwear.
\n What We're Looking For:Must be at least 18 years of ageAutomotive degree/certificate or minimum of 4 years related professional experience requiredCurrent G1, A1-A9, L1, and L3 ASE Certifications requiredIdeal candidate will have prior dealership experienceMust be able to remain up to date on required manufacturer trainingMust be able to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
