Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM with some flexibility Seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst / BCBA for a well-established behavioral health leader in Burlington Township, NJ. Services are provided in a community home serving 5 individuals with an intellectual disability and behavioral health needs. The home is licensed by the Division of Youth and Family Services. Responsibilities include: The BCBA plans, develops, and monitors behavioral support plans for clients diagnosed with an intellectual disability and behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include: Demonstrates expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis, which includes knowledge of behavior management techniques, data collection, and ethical considerations during treatment. Completes comprehensive functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans. Develops materials and provide resources for behavior interventions to be used by staff and parents/guardians. Promotes positive client behavior using Positive Behavior Support principles with families, group home staff and other professionals. Provides training in the use of data collection, positive behavior supports intervention techniques and instructional methodologies for staff. Attends IEP/Child Family Team (CFT) meetings, or other meetings as necessary and provide related behavioral information. Provides crisis assessment, intervention, and management as assigned/needed. Traveling to group home sites (total of 5) as required for observations, functional behavioral assessments, behavior intervention plans, or programmatic recommendations for individuals as assigned/needed. Provides consultation through teaching, observation, and feedback using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis as assigned/needed Monitors treatment progress and effectiveness regularly, maintaining high rates of progress. Completes reports and other paperwork within the established timeframes. Requirements: Active BCBA certification or licensure. One year of experience in working with developmentally disabled persons involving applied behavior analysis and behavior modification preferred.
