Board Certified Behavior AnalystStatus – Part-timeReports To: DirectorDuties:- Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with developmental disabilities, particularly autism and special needs.- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, implementing evidence-based strategies and techniques.- Collect and analyze data on client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.- Collaborate with other professionals, such as educators and speech therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.- Train and supervise behavior technicians or other staff members involved in client treatment.- Provide support and guidance to families of clients, offering resources and strategies for managing challenging behaviors.- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis.Requirements:- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligibility for certification.- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.- Strong understanding of behavioral principles and techniques used in applied behavior analysis.- Excellent data collection and analysis skills.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with special needs.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
