Schedule: Part or Full Time position available (3 to 5 patient days)
Salary: Starting salary based on Experience
Earning potential with Results Based Incentive up to $600k
What you'll do Our Dermatologists are expected to evaluate and treat patients with all types of skin disorders, lesions, biopsies, wound care, skin rashes/allergies, and suture removal. Perform basic cosmetic procedures including injectables, microneedling and lasers. This position is for a responsible person, willing to exceed and demonstrate ethical and professional standards in patient care with an attention to excellence and superb patient service. Must have a passion for Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology, and be willing to provide patient care independently in collaboration with our dermatology team.
The provider maintains a positive, professional, attentive, and welcoming environment for patients during their visit with us. In addition they perform the following functions:
Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Skin DermatologyPerform comprehensive assessments and provide dermatology care and procedures, along with cosmetic dermatologyPerform skin examinations to diagnose and treat skin conditions.Perform procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, electrodesiccation and curettage (ED&C)Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditionsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests as applicable to dermatologyCapable of providing surgical procedures such as the excision of skin cancer lesions with appropriate margins and utilization of various techniques for wound repair, including primary closurePrescribe medications and other treatmentsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plansEducate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditionsProvide dermatology procedures within your passion and scope of practicePerform utilization review and utilization management to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resourcesMust have the ability to work autonomouslyAssist in all areas of practice operation as requestedQualifications Medical degree from an accredited institutionValid medical license to practice in Massachusetts2+ years of experience in Medical Dermatology preferred2+ years of experience in Cosmetic Dermatology preferredPlastic Surgeon, Surgical, Mohs and/or Medical Spa experience is a plusExcellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills essential.
