Job Responsibilities for Body Shop Foreman: Provide service to customers by overseeing the technicians accurately repairing light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, and equipment using special tools and equipment according to Technical Manual procedures Communicate clearly with customers, providing updates as needed.
Work with Insurance adjusters and/or customers to obtain approvals for repairs Provide timely and accurate technical support/information to service office & customers Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work duties Communicate problems and resolutions to supervisor and customers, if requested Oversee tagging of warranty parts and write warranty stories Test drive repaired vehicles Assist technicians with troubleshooting, malfunctions on equipment, and repairs Distribute repair orders fairly and evenly, matching skillset of technicians Manage shop workflow Review and adjust repair estimates Assist with other projects as needed Required Skills for Body Shop Foreman: State Appraisers License 3+ years of experience in a Collision shop 3+ years in a leadership role or service writer role Customer service and leadership qualities Driver's License required, CDL a plus Proficient in the use of a personal computer and basic applications #ATR2
