**Description and Requirements**
**About Our Team**
This position is for a CSP (Cloud Service Provider) **Bill of Materials Engineer** in the Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG). This is an exciting role in the CSP Development organization that has a strong focus to be the #1 trusted IT Partner in the Data Center.
**Location:** Morrisville, NC, Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
**What You'll Do**
The Bill of Materials Engineer will work on Customer BOM/EC enablement including data releases, IT system enablement, EC releases and label EC management.
Additionally, this role will also require end-to-end data enablement with customers and Lenovo's internal teams, including engineering and manufacturing data enablement.
• Collaborate global teams to define shipment features and specs
• Build Product CTO BOM and MECH.BOM correctly
• Create BOM/EC data release plan and track data readiness
• Closely work and communicate with related functional teams to ensure E2E data accuracy
• Resolve BOM/EC issues
• Work with internal team to plan part transitions
• Perform both sustaining and NPI BOM changes
**Basic Requirements** :
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline
• 5+ years BOM/EC working experience in server and hardware development
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience in direct customer engagements
• Masters degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering is a plus
• Hyperscale/Cloud experience a plus
• Experience with MS Office products, especially Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of server components and parts
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with global internal teams and customers
• Ability to lead teams and have the autonomy to make decisions
• Good documentation and organizational skills
• Ability to quickly learn, question, and collaborate on solving problems
