Job Summary: The bookkeeper is the heartbeat of the accounting department, responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate management of, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monitoring cash and credit card accounts.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable - Maintain accurate vendor accounts, entry of bills into system, reconcile bills ensuring appropriate pricing and discounts are applied, pay bills on time and according to the terms. Accounts Receivable - Records daily sales and makes the deposits. Monitor cash and credit card accounts - Collect and record balance and available credit balances on multiple accounts for cash flow purposes. General Office Responsibilities - Maintain and upload documents to Imaging system, communicate with internal departments regarding checks and credit card charges, assist with accounting records and ledgers in posting transactions and reconciliations. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirement:
1+ years of bookkeeping experience. Automotive Industry Detail-oriented, organized, consistent, dependable, honest, and extremely trustworthy. Obsessive focus on timelines and deliverables. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs. Experience using QuickBooks or other accounting software systems. Ability to prioritize. Self-motivated. Team Player Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records. High school diploma required, Business or Accounting degree preferred. Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification preferred.
