POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are Seeking a Bookkeeper who will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's accounting processes.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.
The candidate should also have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities: Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting auditsPrepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting analyzing and consolidating financial data; recommending plansProvides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial dataPrepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsCoordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to managementDevelop monthly financial statement, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheetsProcess accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely mannerComplies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actionsMaintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling and disciplining employeesProtects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidentialPrepares and records asset, liability, revenue and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account informationMaintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepanciesSummarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statementsProduces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, initiating direct deposit and verifying finished productSecures financial information by maintaining strict confidentialityBalance and maintain accurate ledgers

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job operates in a professional office environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer.
The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
