Job summary
Looking for an all-round bookkeeper in San Antonio, TXPart of Hascor USA, a medium sized company that manufactures and/or sells metal alloysTasks include data entry, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial statements
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Day to day data entry (invoices / bank statements)• Posting accrual journal entries and other postings• Reconciling bank statements• Basic general ledger accounting• Maintaining and sending daily accounts receivable and payable reports• Assisting with monthly financial statements and closings• Communicating with other group companies• Preparing outgoing payments• Collections• Proactive, hands-on, with a helicopter view
Requirements
• Bachelor in Finance, Accounting or Business• Several years (> 3) of proven experience in a similar position• Extensive knowledge and experience with finance and accounting systems• Strong business attitude with excellent communication skills• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook• Ability to work independently with limited supervision• Flexible, stress resistant, good communicative skills• Attention to detail and ability to multitask• Analytical and able to work independently• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
