Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist Opportunity!!
Assist with accounts payable invoice processing, provide financial, bookkeeping and payroll support; Aid in deployment of technology, systems and tools to enhance organizational efficiency and productivity in associated businesses (different business lines)
PART TIME POSITION
PAY - $22.00 - $24.00/hr
LOCATION: 1819 H St. Modesto CA 95354 (must come into office)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll calculations and processing (W-2 & 1099s)
Accounts Payable
Accounts receivable
Reconciliations
Job Cost Analysis
Assist with P&Ls, Balance Sheets and a variety of other financial reports
Assist with year-end close and external audit
Managing and reconciling credit card payments, balances, budgets and receipts.
Prepare and file quarterly and annual forms for tax purposes.
Assist with the filing and keeping corporates entities up to date
Assist with Workers Compensation audit, state mandated reports, courses, audits etc.
Work with Finance Department staff in special projects
Aid in deployment of technology, systems and tools to enhance organizational efficiency and productivity in the finance department
Keeps financial metrics up to date
Assist and collaborates with management team on other financial responsibilities as needed
Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Maintain confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Skills and Competencies
Minimum of 1 years of payroll experience
Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks, google sheets, Dropbox, Attention to detail, Deadline-oriented, Confidential, Time Management skills, Problem solver, Resourceful, Able to work individually and with limited supervision, data entry, time management, general math skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Open minded. Able to grow, adapt and pivot, as necessary.
Preferable Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
