Job Title: Boutique Fitness Sales Manager - YogaSix StudiosReports to: District General ManagerWe're searching for a talented Sales Manager to grow our member base at YogaSix in the mid/North Monmouth County area. Ideally, this individual will grow into a multi-unit leadership position as our new studios open in the immediate future. YogaSix offers six different class types designed to accommodate students of all levels in a way that is empowering, encouraging, and fun. YogaSix was established in 2012 and is the fastest-growing boutique yoga company in the United States. YogaSix of Monmouth County NJ has two open studios - in Ocean Township and Shrewsbury, and has committed to developing four more yoga studios all within Monmouth County over the next 2-3 years. The Sales Director is expected to eventually lead sales for each new studio on a staggered schedule. Long-term career opportunities with this role are expected.POSITION:The Sales Manager is responsible for driving membership sales, networking with other organizations, and retention. He/She must have a strong sales/service mindset, knowledge of PC/Mac computers, be able to communicate in an effective and efficient way, be team-oriented, and have a drive and passion for service. Foremost, this is a membership sales, networking, and retention role with a focus on generating new leads, follow-up, and keeping member attrition below thresholds. Helping drive and manage regional community events, and pre-sales activities in the local area is anticipated. Ability to travel within Monmouth County required.Expected 35-40 hours of work per week, including some weekends, base hourly salary plus commission based on membership growth and membership retention.This is a unique opportunity for growth. Ideally, we're searching for an ambitious entrepreneur-minded Sales Manager to grow into multi-unit management as we open additional YogaSix studios in the future.JOB REQUIREMENTS:5+ years of sales or fitness sales experienceProven experience in generating and following up on leads; sales and lead generation goals are set monthly, weekly, and dailyConfident in generating personal salesAbility to manage and drive all revenue streams: memberships, private yoga sessions, retail, and teacher trainingMust be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via emailStrong customer service skillsAbility to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environmentAbility to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgmentSolid writing and grammar skillsHighly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesProfessional, punctual, reliable, and neatStrong attention to detail and accuracyTrustworthy and ability to handle confidential informationAbility to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general publicAbility to stay calm at all times and act respectfully and professionally, even with customers who may become angry or raise their voicesProficient with computers and Studio softwareDUTIES:Lead generation, membership sales, and retentionBusiness-to-business relationship management and growth - form partnerships with other local business ownersManage and grow all revenue streams, including memberships, private yoga sessions, retail, and teacher trainingManage sales and marketing budget, spending, and reportingExecute ongoing marketing plan based on studio needs with a focus on new client acquisition, activation, retention, and loyaltySchedule/manage Grassroots Marketing partnerships on a weekly basis to drive new guest trafficParticipate in studio, regional, and company-wide meetings and trainings as neededWork closely with Studio Owner, District General Manager, and National Sales Director to ensure the health and profitability of the studioPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employee must be able to work hours that may exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends, especially during peak activity periods. May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locations. May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
