BRAINPAC & POLITICAL AFFAIRS MANAGER What you'll do. As the BrainPAC & Political Affairs Manager, you'll be at the heart of advancing the AAN's mission through dynamic political engagement and strategic fundraising. Your role will spearhead the growth and impact of BrainPAC, our federal political action committee, driving innovative fundraising strategies that align with the Academy's legislative goals. You'll play a key role in cultivating and strengthening relationships with members of Congress and their staff, ensuring that the priorities of the Academy and the field of neurology are front and center. Collaborating closely with our team, you'll champion AAN's policy priorities and offer strategic insights to shape our federal advocacy efforts. What we look for. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, or similar field is requiredExperience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in PAC administration or policy is requiredExperience using Cision PAC software, or similar product is preferredExperience using Quorum software, or a similar product is preferredExperience with a health care industry or physician PAC program is preferred*Equivalent combination of education and experience beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for qualification requirements.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel required – approximately 5%
Location: Washington, DC, and is identified as hybrid (required to work in the office with the ability to work remotely part of the week)
