About this Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to join our National Branch Network team within the Consumer, Small, and Business Banking division. As a Branch Manager, you'll play a crucial role in leading, managing, and nurturing a diverse team to drive exceptional customer experiences and achieve business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to execute business strategies and foster customer relationships.
- Empower bankers to engage customers, understand their needs, and proactively offer solutions to help them achieve financial success.
- Resolve customer and employee issues, manage risks, and drive team growth to meet branch objectives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience through digital banking education and support.
- Foster collaboration with stakeholders, peers, and internal partners to deliver a customer-centric experience.
- Mentor and guide talent development while assisting in the hiring process.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of experience, training, or education.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports.
- Strong ability to build and inspire teams focused on adaptability, collaboration, and performance.
- Analytical skills to assess performance, identify opportunities, and execute plans for achieving business objectives.
- Knowledge of coaching across diverse customer segments and experience in relationship building.
- Familiarity with banking regulations, compliance controls, and risk management practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Completion of SAFE registration and compliance with related Wells Fargo policies.
- Compliance with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements for Loan Originator positions.
- Ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements, including additional screening if necessary.
