SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide the highest degree of quality guest service, both internally and externally.Responsible for encouraging the Rewards Program and enrolling new guests into the Player Rewards Program.Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities, and marketing programs to guests.Print player's cards using the Player Tracking System.Assist with concerts, including ticket scanning, seating, and Q&A.Assist with drawings, giveaways, and special events.Attend off-site events to promote Turfway Park and attract new guests.Assist with creating property brochures, newsletters, posters, and website content.Assist the Marketing Supervisor with social media content.Develops and builds relationships with guests through excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional guest service.Various administrative responsibilities.Other duties as assignedSTANDARDS OF PERFORMANCEMust be available to work evenings and weekends.Excellent oral and written communication skills.High level of professionalism with the ability to react well under pressure.Exceptional guest service skills.Ability to work in a fast paced environment and interact with internal departments.Understand and represent Turfway Park's image and reputation both at work and at external functions.Maintain a professional working relationship among personnel.Lift up to 25 lbs.EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCEMinimum of one year experience in guest service.Proficient with Microsoft Office and Player Tracking systems preferred.Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.Must be 21+ years of ageHigh School Degree is requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
