Breakfast Attendant

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving the daily complimentary breakfast for our guests, ensuring that food and beverages are consistently fresh and available, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining area. This role is vital to creating a positive start to our guests' day and ensuring their overall satisfaction with their stay.Responsibilities:Make sure that the breakfast buffet is fully set up each morning and that fresh items are always offered throughout service hoursMaintain the breakfast area by cleaning tables, chairs, and buffet counter, and empty trash as neededFollow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipmentAssist guests with any questions or concerns that they may have in a prompt and friendly mannerProvide attentive service to guests in the dining area by taking orders, and serving food and drinksQualifications:Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificationProven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentalityMust have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkersWe prefer some experience working in the food service industryDisplays impeccable time management and organizational skillsAbout Company:The Holiday Inn Express Vermilion is dedicated to exceptional guest experiences through our clean rooms & outstanding reputation.
