Job Summary:The Breakfast Line Cook at Ramada Plaza Nags Head Oceanfront in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina is a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality and timely delivery of our breakfast menu items. As a Full-Time individual contributor, the Breakfast Line Cook will be responsible for working closely with the kitchen team to prepare and execute breakfast orders for guests. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have previous cooking experience and a passion for creating delicious breakfast dishes.Compensation & Benefits:This position offers a competitive salary of $15 to $18 per hour, paid biweekly. Employees will also receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan.Responsibilities:Prepare breakfast menu items according to established recipes and standardsEnsure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely mannerCommunicate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient operationMaintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and work areaStock and maintain supplies and equipment required for breakfast serviceCollaborate with the Sous Chef to develop new breakfast menu itemsAdhere to all food safety and hygiene regulationsAssist with inventory and ordering of kitchen suppliesTrain and mentor new kitchen staff as neededRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious cooking experience, preferably in a hotel or restaurant settingKnowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and recipesAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management and communication skillsKnowledge of food safety and hygiene regulationsAvailability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as neededMust have reliable transportation to and from workEEOC Statement:Ramada Plaza Nags Head Oceanfront is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
