Seeking a full-time BE/BC Medical Oncologist with breast cancer sub-specialization to join 4 breast medical oncologists in expanding cancer center. This position is open to mid-career medical oncologists, as well to physicians completing their fellowship with an interest in breast oncology, who desire to further their professional development in an academic-community healthcare system.The busy breast service sees over 600 new cases of breast cancer annually cared for by a multi-disciplinary team of fellowship trained breast surgeons and medical and radiation oncologists sub-specializing in breast cancer.The clinical team is well supported by pathologists and radiologists, many of whom are fellowship trained as well as by reconstructive surgeons, a mature genetic counselling program and an active nurse navigator program.Formal programs in survivorship, high risk care, patient education and breast rehabilitation services are in development.Breast Tumor Board meets weekly to discuss the management of individual patients.Hospitalist teams cover in-patient care with oncology consult service provided by medical oncology.There are opportunities to participate in teaching, clinical research, and quality/outcomes research.Academic accomplishment in clinical trials or quality improvement is highly desirable The Community:
