We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Breast Surgeon to join our team.
Key Responsibilities: Perform surgical procedures, including lumpectomies, mastectomies, reconstructive surgeries, US guided breast biopsies, and stereotactic biopsies.Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans.Stay current with advancements in breast surgery techniques and technologies.Educate patients and their families about surgical options, risks, and recovery processes.Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.Educate and mentor surgical residents through didactic sessions, hands-on training, and clinical supervision.Operating privileges at both TidalHealth: Peninsula Regional Hospital and TidalHealth: Nanticoke Memorial Hospital is required.Qualifications: Medical degree (M.D.
or D.O.)
