Growing fullservice firm looking to add a talented Bridge Project Manager to their Pittsburgh team! Responsibilities: Project engineering duties for the Transportation group (design structural analysis survey environmental assessment inspection and site walks) Provide technical oversight (manage design/documentation process analyze correlate scientific/engineering data identify problems/solutions) Participate in strategic planning for bridge/transportation group Complete administrative duties (develop communicate and track workflow tasks scheduling quality assurance/client standards and ensure documentation is consistent with project plans and within scope/budget) Assist with the development and oversight of project scope schedule and fees for new projects and additional scope/services requested by clients Assist with business development including site visits letter of interest preparation participation in technical societies and client meetings Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Master s degree in Civil Engineering preferred 7 years of Bridge Construction design experience Pennsylvania PE License Bridge Inspection Certification (CBSI) and or experience preferred Knowledge of AASHTO/PennDOT policies/standard procedures (for the analysis evaluation and design of various bridge types) Experience performing bridge assessments/inspections preferred Experience delivering PennDOT/PTC projects City of Pittsburgh DOMI and Allegheny County preferred Extensive experience with preparing bridge construction drawings calculating bridge rebars and bridge quantities Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel) AutoCAD Microstation and PennDOT design software programs Salary is commensurate with experience.
