Job summary
The Student Broadcast Assistant will serve as on air talent and operate radio broadcasting equipment.They will gather weather, news, and programming information, read on air announcements, and assist with sound reinforcement and recording.This is a part-time position with multiple vacancies.

Responsibilities
• Serve as on air talent while operating radio broadcasting equipment• Access daily programming log and other documents needed for on air work• Gather weather, news, and programming information• Read on air announcements• Access public service announcements• Assist in set-up and operation of sound reinforcement, recording, and broadcast equipment• Assist with engineering for events (RadioLive & Webcasts)• Perform other duties as required
Requirements
• Applicants must be a student enrolled for credit• Pleasant speaking voice with good articulation abilities• Familiarity with audio and broadcasting equipment• Computer literate• Ability to take direction and incorporate suggestions regarding on air presentation• Dependability• Ability to multitask
