Brokerage Client Manager Location Wauwatosa, WI : Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Lead service on assigned book(s) of business by organizing internal resources and delegating work as appropriate. Respond promptly and accurately to client service needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers. Maintain insurance knowledge and expertise. Customer Service: Responsibility or Duty: Provide client service relating to assigned book of business, including but not limited to responding to customer service problems relating to questions on policies, coverages, claims and accounting/billing. Collaborate with director, manager and others involved in the program on a regular basis to discuss workload, etc. Provide coverage review as needed. Process new and renewal policies in Apex, Epic, and Zendesk, verifying requested coverages and reviewing policies for accuracy. Order and process customer requests for policy changes and perform any follow-up work. Prepare binders, certificates of insurance, cancellations, reinstatements and other related insurance forms required by customers. Create general correspondence to clients and related interests. Claims intake, reporting, and follow-up is handled in Risk Management for all Property & Casualty with the exception of Small Market. Process customer claim reports, report to carriers, and follow up as needed. Take customer claim reports and follow up as needed. Process special functions as needed by client. These duties may include assisting with premium breakdowns, loss analysis reports, dividend calculations, and researching coverages. Handle carrier inquires as necessary. Review and monitor daily follow-up activities. Provide support to the TruStage Sales Team including but not limited to responding to requests received through Zendesk, new business placement, renewal processing, claims advocacy support, billing/audit support, client coverage questions, support, product education, etc. Marketing Responsibility or Duty: Work with TruStage Sales Team and underwriters on new business and renewals; review policies to ensure proper insurance. Assist in preparing applications and related information for submission on new and renewal business, based on information provided by TruStage Sales Team or client. Assist in preparing proposals for new and renewal business, meet deadlines relating to appointments and policy expirations. Select potential placement markets. Billing and Accounting Responsibility or Duty: Invoice both agency and direct billed policy premiums, allocating appropriate commissions to Client Executives (CEs) involved. Prepared premium finance contracts and company financing forms as needed. Review aged accounts receivable and assist in collection process. Other Responsibilities and Authorities Responsibility or Duty: Organize and prioritize workflow pertaining to assigned book of business. Participate in meetings and assist in the development of new procedures to help streamline workflow and efficiency. Understand agency policy and procedures, customer service standards, and comply with Employee Manual and Office Manual & Procedure Guide. Maintain professional skills with continuing education for further development and understanding of property and casualty insurance agency system. Comply with company binding authority guidelines. Maintain efficient and positive relationships with TruStage Sales Team, other agency staff, clients and carriers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education
Required
High School or better. Experience
Required Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
A minimum of two years property and casualty insurance agency or company experience or education in commercial insurance is desired.
Preferred Is able to work between typical office hours of 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
Broad knowledge of insurance markets and reference to markets.
Broad knowledge of insurance products and usages.
Understanding of workflow procedures and sales service processes.
