Budget Director Roxbury, MA ONSITE REQUIRED FREE Onsite Parking Available Temporary to hire: $45-55/hour Our Education client based in Roxbury, MA is seeking a Budget Director with Higher Education experience to join their growing team in a new position. The position will report to the CFO.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required6+ years hands-on budget creation and management experience requiredFinancial controls and reportingExperience partnering with department managers to build systematic reportingExperience managing a budget of $50M+ through state programs and grants across several funding sources requiredExperience in state payroll budget managementPrior experience in budget management in higher education requiredJenzabar experience requiredManagement experience of 1+ direct reportResponsibilities: Oversee the financial planning and budgeting processes for the institution, ensuring that resources are allocated efficientlyDevelop and manage annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring they support the institution's academic and administrative prioritiesMonitor budget performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain fiscal healthPrepare financial reports for internal stakeholders, state and federal agencies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulationsCollaborate with leadership to create multi-year financial plans that align with strategic objectives
