This position will perform duties associated with Central Control including: reviewing of HVAC system operation; triaging of HVAC operational failures; customer calls, complaints and requests; supporting the Building Services mechanical and electrical crews, the preventive maintenance crew, and commissioning department; and providing training and technical support to skilled trades employees and supervisors.
Regular attendance is required to meet business and customer needs.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills Knowledge normally acquired in the first or second year of college, technical or vocational school in engineering, HVAC technology or a related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in industrial or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, including laboratory pressurization controls; experience in the operation of Building Automation Systems (BAS); experience in project planning and review; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; possession of a valid vehicle operator's license.
Desired Qualifications Associate's degree in engineering or HVAC technology; experience with MSU Standards for Construction systems HVAC systems, Controls and Building Automation Systems, fire, safety, and health codes; experience with Siemens Apogee Building Automation System and/or Delta Controls Building Automation System.
