Position Summary Salary- low $68,014.09  - avg $72,116.94 -  high $76,655.93   - annually depending on experience.  MSU Benefits - Free comprehensive health care for you and your family as well as a 10% contribution toward your retirement; Generous sick, vacation, personal and holiday time.  
This position will perform duties associated with Central Control: triaging of HVAC operational failures on Siemens and Delta Building Automation System (BAS); control programming and diagnostics; customer calls, complaints and requests; review project plans and documents for adherence to University construction standards and project specification; provide support to Building Services mechanical and electrical crews, the preventive maintenance crew, and commissioning department; provide training and technical support to skilled trades employees and supervisors.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills Knowledge normally acquired in the first two or three years of college, technical or vocational school in the field of engineering or HVAC technology; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in industrial or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, including laboratory pressurization controls; experience in the operation of Building Automation Systems (BAS); completion of the Siemens Process Control Language (PCL) and Delta General Control Language (GCL) program courses; experience in project planning and review; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; possession of a valid vehicle operator's license.
Desired Qualifications Associate's degree in engineering or HVAC technology; experience with MSU Standards for Construction systems HVAC systems, Controls and Building Automation Systems, fire, safety, and health codes; experience with Siemens Apogee or Desigo Building Automation System and/or Delta Controls Building Automation System.
