Summary
This position is responsible for independently performing a variety of skilled building maintenance tasks to ensure the facility looks professional and maintains a safe environment.
Skills & Responsibilities
Ensures facility maintenance to uphold a professional presentation and meets safety standards through conducting general repairs and upkeep of the facility
Performs basic maintenance requirements for the facility and supporting equipment
Coordinates / performs preventative maintenance of all aspects of facility through coordinating vendors and resources
Responsible for HVAC maintenance of all properties; may include Chillers
Conducts basic painting, electrical, carpentry and plumbing repairs; annual roof inspections
Regularly monitors facility equipment including preventive maintenance of machinery
Responsible to perform various projects as needed to meet business objectives (i.e. construct crates for packaging, etc).
Performs regular facility and safety audits to ensure compliance with company processes, safety practices, and OSHA regulations
Provides suggestions involving safety, process improvement, and cost saving ideas
Unload/load supplies and material from vehicles as required
May provide training to less experienced associates
Performs all other duties as may be assigned
Required Education & Experience
EPA License
5 Years Commercial HVAC experience required
3+ years' experience in related field
High school graduate or equivalent
Proficient in the operation of hand tools, power tools and other shop equipment
Ability to lift/carry supplies or equipment of 50 lbs. or more with frequent reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
Proven ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Must be detail oriented, organized and dependable
Must be a team player and maintain a professional disposition
