Job Overview: The Return From Vendor Problem Solver performs necessary steps to process items received from our vendors. Depending on the item's condition and reason for return, the item is forwarded to different departments to be resold, sent to stock, etc.
Reviews vendor communications (i.e. packing list, C/S notes) to determine how to process each item.Examines repaired merchandise to determine condition and confirms all components/accessories are returned.Determines the placement of the merchandise (i.e. stock, parts, used, back to customer) through investigation through documentation and computer system.Updates computer system with findings.Repacks merchandise to saleable condition if packaging is flawed.Additional Responsibilities: As assigned by the Supervisor.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Organized and detail-oriented.Able to problem solve.Exceptional communication skills.Experience with computer systems (UNIX, web, email, Excel).Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses: Previous experience in reviewing shipment documentation (shipping label/packing list) a plus.Physical Environment/Occupational Risks: Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and up to 80lbs with assistance.Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
