Bursar Cashier

Performs clerical duties related to Bursar Office services primarily at the East Chicago location

Hourly Wage: $15.00 EAST CHICAGO (Primary Location) Serves as the first contact with students, faculty and staff for bursar questions and issues either in person or on the phone Receive payments & key payments into the system of record - Banner Reconcile daily cash drawer with Banner report; correct discrepancies before finalizing report in Banner Process all request for official transcripts Apply all charges for proctored exams / tests Process payments received by mail to student accounts in Banner.
Issue bus and parking passes & maintain database (Access) for both Review and approve Student Computer Requests and maintain database (Access) Perform all other related duties as assigned consistent with commonly accepted practices High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Six (6) months to one (1) year cash handling & customer service experience First class customer service and communication experience Strong organizational skills
