Essential Functions Provides transportation for youth ages 6-12 to and from outdoor programs, playcamp locations, and other recreation activities as assigned. Ensures safety of all passengers while being transported. Adheres to scheduled pick up and drop off times. (85%) Performs basic safety inspection of vehicle to ensure it is safe to operate. Performs routine cleaning inside vehicle. (15%) Performs other duties as assigned. Total Percentage = 100% Requirements Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training Valid Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement with two years bus driving experience. Ability to safely operate bus with children and staff aboard; navigate to various areas of the City; display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of City employees, the general public and other organizations; communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance; complete assignments in a timely fashion; understand and comply with all rules, policies and regulations; maintain prompt and regular attendance; and perform all essential and marginal functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor and/or manager with or without a reasonable accommodation.
