FlexStaff is hiring a Business Administrative Assistant to support our client, a power plant in Staten Island.
In this unique role, you will support the Business Analyst in managing various administrative and financial tasks within the site.
Your most important responsibilities will be to handle invoice entries, accruals, inventory reconciliation, and other accounts payable (AP) activities.
Additionally, you will handle general office administrative duties.
Please note that this role is 100% on site in Staten Island, so you must be able to comfortably commute to the office.
The hours are M-F 7am-3:30pm. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Business Analyst with entering invoices into the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
Perform invoice accruals and assist with Purchase Order (PO) accruals.
Conduct inventory reconciliation and manage related documentation.
Support accounts payable processes and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Handle general office administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management.
Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies, including hosting company events, managing office supplies, ensuring stock levels, and ordering lunch.
Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and other business documents as needed.
Provide administrative support to other team members as required.
Qualifications: Accounting or Business degree is highly preferred.
Familiarity with EAM systems and accounts payable processes.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
