Position Overview: Sr. Business Analyst with Banking Domain Expertise/Agile
We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst with specialized expertise in the banking domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in gathering and analyzing business requirements, defining functional specifications, and supporting the implementation of technology solutions to optimize banking operations and enhance customer experiences.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, product owners, and technical teams, to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to banking products, services, and processes. Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit and prioritize business needs, objectives, and success criteria for technology initiatives. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and system workflows for development and implementation. Work closely with development teams to ensure clear understanding of business requirements and provide guidance throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in testing activities, including test case development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution, to validate system functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements. Provide subject matter expertise in banking products and services, including retail banking, commercial banking, Auto lending, payments, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) preferred. 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on retail or commercial banking.
Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory compliance requirements. Strong communication skills, and Proven ability to translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements documentation.
