ABOUT THE ROLE The Business Analyst Manager will manage and lead a team of Senior Business Analysts & Business Analysts (BA) through agile sprint development, facilitate key scrum ceremonies, work with Technical Product Managers to prioritize BA tasks, collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business requirements, and translate with architects to design solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities Remove blockers for Business Analysts by identifying solutions to keep team on sprint plan. Ensure tasks are well defined and include necessary assets prior to sprint and limit amount of unplanned work. Define, manage, and maintain Jira best practices and SOP documentation standards Identify areas of opportunity to enable the team to be more effective, improve quality of work, and overall sprint performance Serve as the conduit between the client stakeholders and the software development team, including external 3rd party development teams QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business System Analysis, or equivalent experience 2+ years as a people leader/manager 3+ years as a business analyst or software engineer Experience in Agile, scrum methodology, and technical resource planning Clear communicator that can deliver a message to business and technical audiences in a clear and succinct manner Understanding of business processes across departments and the ability to translate requirements into IT solutions Manage multiple projects of various scales in a cross-functional environment Intrinsically change motivated- driver of process improvements and creator of actionable strategies and plans, able to anticipate obstacles and generate creative solutions to complex obstacles PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Scrum master or agile development certification Bedrock offers generous benefits which include medical, dental & vision insurance, 15 days of paid vacation, 11 paid holidays with 3 additional floating holidays and a 401K match.
