Summary:
The business enablement team within Client's Reality Labs is looking for a solution lead with deep functional and operational understanding and expertise in consumer electronics product life cycle and materials management. The candidate must have business and technical systems expertise as it pertains to product data management including engineering change orders, bill-of-materials and cost management. Excellent command of PDM and materials management systems is a must.
Responsibilities:
Interface with engineering, product life cycle, materials management and supplier teams to define comprehensive process and system strategies that provide flexibility and are scalable as well as sustainable
Contribute to PLM, engineering and materials management plans by providing comprehensive capability development analyzes and solution development roadmaps to implement goals defined by the strategies
Define functional requirements and develop detailed solution designs to meet operational outcomes that conform to customer and business requirements
Define solutions that allow for efficient and holistic product life cycle and materials management execution
Support business partners in drafting and analyzing business cases for new initiatives
Facilitate workshops with cross functional teams to gather detailed requirements
Develop strategies and solutions for on-boarding trading partners with respect to systems integration and data collection
Set goals for the accuracy and completeness of product life cycle and materials management reporting
Drive operational and system improvements to enable efficient cost management processes
Skills:
Excellent communication, creative, critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, prioritization, project management, teamwork and organization skills
Strong analytical skills and interpersonal experience.
Proven track record in building internal and external customer relationships.
Exposure to agile and scrum work management techniques.
Demonstrated problem-solving experience.
Experience:
At least 10 years' experience in product life cycle, engineering or materials management.
Experience using Team Center or other PLM tools and cost management tools
Working business understanding of Forecast to Plan, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Issue to Resolution processes
Experience with databases and SQL.
Experience working in high-volume consumer electronics industry.
Experience bringing new products to market.
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
