Position Summary
At Vensure Employer Services, Business Consultants are essential members of our sales team, driving our unprecedented revenue growth.
Focused on new business development, these self-motivated and hardworking professionals play a pivotal role in helping clients address critical business needs.
As a Business Consultant for Workforce Management (WFM), your primary responsibility will be to sell our WFM solution directly and indirectly within a designated geographic territory.
The ideal candidate will consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
This role demands a successful hunter mentality to identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities through both direct, self-generated leads and indirect channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Generate opportunities through outbound prospecting and channel development.
Execute strategies to gain access to key stakeholders within prospective client organizations.
Identify critical business needs and create compelling cases for each prospective client.
Create and communicate the value of Vensure WFM to successfully engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
Take ownership and lead deals through the entire sales cycle, from inception to close, including post-sale implementation.
Negotiate the scope of services and pricing, completing all required contracts and forms.
Invest in ongoing education to become a knowledgeable expert, including staying current on industry trends, product capabilities, best practices, vertical nuances, competition, and more.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
Uphold activity standards.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle, with the ability to prospect new business and develop channel partners.
Foundational experience with Challenger, Sandler, or similar sales methodologies.
Experience selling to business owners or the C-Suite.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; capable of communicating as a knowledgeable professional.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Quick learner with an ongoing commitment to personal development.
Team player and purposeful collaborator, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic, high motivation, and a high standard of performance while pursuing established goals.
Self-aware and open to feedback and coaching.
Strong business acumen and understanding of HR outsourcing concepts.
