The Business Controller Oncology Software is responsible for reporting and financial analyses for the Business Line and plays a key role in supporting the Business Line with all FP&A processes. The Business Controller will act as business partner ensuring high-quality decision-making support to OSS and local management as well as accurate reporting to Elekta Group and Business Line Finance. The Business Controller is expected to guide and support key business partners in the organization on finance and operation topics and will interact with business line management in order to successfully develop the finance operations. The Business Controller is the main interface between the business line and Finance's shared service centers and is responsible for the quality and timeliness of monthly reporting.
Responsibilities: Key contributor to monthly close. Control tasks to ensure quality and timeliness standards are met. Align with financial global governance guidelines and measures.Coordinate and manage the quarterly review and annual budget process with stakeholders related to orders, revenue, cost of goods sold, and expenses.Contribute to Software presentation of annual, quarterly, and monthly performance. Investigate material variances and add depth to reported Software performance.Review, analyze, and interpret financial reports bringing trends and/or issues to management. Communicates clearly and effectively.Coordinate with other BL and functions to ensure cohesiveness and adherence to Elekta's guidelines and objectives. Challenge financial and business current status and processes to drive operational excellence, alignment, and consistency.Act as subject matter expert on Finance systems. Interface with IT and other parts of the organization to ensure Software specific Finance requirements are considered.Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses to support management.Play a key role within the BLOSS finance team. Together with other team members, drive process excellence and optimization of finance activities.What you bring: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field of study.Must be strategic minded with the ability to effectively multitask.Experience working and comfortable interacting with senior management.Must possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Requires initiative and ability to think independently.Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.3-5 years related experience in financial planning and analysis.Advanced Excel skills and use of data analysis tools required.Experience with large ERP and planning systems.Ability to manage electronic files effectively.Strong written and verbal communication skills.What you'll get: In this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
