What We're Looking For: TSTC is a fast-growing small business supporting the federal government and we are looking for a Full-Time Business Development Administrative Assistant to help us as we grow. We are looking for a well-rounded Administrative person with at least 3 years of federal proposal/BD experience. The Administrative Assistant will review release notices, changes to tracked opportunities, and review RFP/RFI documents to ensure that TSTC is following the most relevant leads. The Administrative Assistant will continue to develop and maintain the proposal library and file all related documents in the correct location. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of business development and proposal support processes. The position is great for someone who has a base level knowledge of federal contracting but wants to learn more about finding and reviewing RFI/RFP opportunities, the proposal preparation and submission process, and tracking opportunities from beginning to end. This position has great growth potential as it reports directly to the CEO!

What you'll Do:Work directly with TSTC CEO and become an integral part of the company's growth strategy. Research opportunities, primes, subs, and potential teaming partners. Stay up to date on all changes to opportunities in the pipeline and ensure senior management is up to date Assist CEO with keeping relationships and partners going. Prepare clear and concise briefing materials for senior management.Use knowledge of regulations governing Federal and DoD procurements and contract vehiclesManage and track multiple proposals, including solicitation amendmentsProvide support on evolving additional tasks as needed Basic QualificationsBS or BA preferredAt least 3 years of federal government proposal and contract managementKnowledge of both DHS and DoD agenciesSkilled in MS office suiteWorks independently, proactively identifies, and completes task.Excellent verbal and written skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams, stakeholders, and SMEsFamiliarity with RFI/RFQ process and procedures Maintains flexibility to work extended hours as needed.Experience with VT Docs and Next Stage preferred. Security Clearance & Where you will WorkApplicants selected must be a U.S. Citizen. The successful candidate must pass a comprehensive background check. Initially no clearance is needed but this may change if the need arises to work on classified submissions.Remote (85%), with occasional in-office days at the Arlington, VA office and relevant capture/proposal events (15%).
