For more information, please visit Position Description Access Holdings is seeking outstanding candidates to support the firm's business development activities and to build a pipeline of opportunities including M&A targets, multi-million-dollar contract opportunities, and new potential customers. The analyst will be responsible for designing and executing outreach strategies and digital campaigns and identifying, qualifying, and building relationships with potential customers and partners for Access and its portfolio companies.
This is an exciting opportunity for high-potential talent to learn, implement, and continuously evolve a proven sourcing and origination strategy that has driven tremendous value for Access. This position provides hands-on experience working together with deeply experienced Corporate Development, and Sales and Marketing executives as well as senior investment professionals at Access.
The position will be based in the brand-new Access Holdings Baltimore HQ, based in the Historic Mount Vernon neighborhood in Baltimore, Maryland.
Responsibilities Source and originate new partners and customers for Access and its portfolio companies via outreach to Founders, CEOs, and other stakeholders Collaborate with Access and its portfolio companies to identify prospects and build ideal target profiles Execute market research to identify prospects that meet the ideal target profile Create and prioritize prospect lists Design and execute digital marketing content and strategies Conduct outbound calls to potential customers and partners to generate business development opportunities Cultivate and build relationships with prospects Qualify prospects and present these findings to Access and its portfolio companies Keep accurate records of prospecting activities and interactions using CRM software Develop and design executive-level reports, dashboards and board-level presentations Develop a command of the Access digital tool capabilities to drive broader adoption and identify enhancement opportunities Engage with senior industry executives as part of the research-driven Access investment approach Help conduct research and build on new investment themes Requirements Successful candidates will have the following attributes:
Bachelor's Degree 2-4 years of professional experience in business development, marketing or sales preferred Experience in an outbound sales role preferred Exceptional project management experience Passion for investing and learning about new industries, business models, and companies Strong communication skills Demonstrated ability and interest in working in a small, entrepreneurial team Comprehension of negotiation processes poised to achieve optimal outcomes Competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience with CRM and Digital Automation tools a plus Personal Characteristics Low ego, consultative style with an ability to influence through use of data, analysis and experience Strategic planner with the ability to plan and execute upon a defined task or strategy Innovative and creative thinker with the ability to derive best practices Hands on, energetic and collaborative team player Self-initiating but in an aligned manner with Access' strategy and culture Excels with building internal and external alignment on ideas, actions, recommendations, etc. Passion for innovation and being intellectually curious Outstanding collaborator across all levels Fast learner with a desire to move with urgency, accountability, and intent Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner Ability to synthesize and convey complex business concepts effectively
